We hope this blog allows our friends and family to keep up to date on Eden's life, especially as she adjusts to life after a heart transplant.

As if we didn't have enough to be grateful for
All in 24 hours this weekend... we took August to the pediatrician... the pediatrician sent us to the ER... the ER admitted him for RSV (a respiratory virus)... we took Eden to the pediatrician... the pediatrician avoided another trip to the ER by removing the BEAD FROM INSIDE HER NOSE... Eden went home... August stayed the night...
We are grateful to have a healthy 3 (almost 4) year old who can go to preschool (where she plays with beads and sticks them up her nose; catches RSV and shares it with her baby brother.)
We are grateful to have a strong 1 month old baby who can fight RSV like a champ.
We are grateful to have the greatest pediatrician in the world who calls me on his cell phone as he is driving home to check on ME (he knew the kids were in good hands).
We are grateful to have Susan (Brian's mom) visit at the perfect time who so wonderfully takes care of us all.
And most especially, we are so grateful to be home again. A (relatively) healthy family of four.
