Happy Father's Day

We had a French Toast Kabob, Afternoon Ball Game, Evening Picnic with friends kind of day.
We mixed in a nap and a few tantrums, then topped it off with some wine and jazz.

Although we weren't able to spend the day with our own fathers we spent some time remembering those men who held the backs of our bike seats (me), and pulled out our loose teeth with pliers (me), let us steer the green pick-up truck (Brian), and shared donuts after the Sunday morning paper route (Brian). To our fathers, grandfathers, and significant father figures - we love you and are so grateful for your influence in our lives.

Happy Father's Day!

The french toast kabobs look great - share the recipe sometime! Mothers of grown children are always happiest when their children are happy in their lives; Eden and August have brought such joy to Brian as a father. Thanks for teaching them the gift of giving time and energy to their dad.

Love,
Susan
